Dennison Railroad Festival fun returns June 1-4

DENNISON The Dennison Railroad Pageant will operate this calendar year from June 1-4 and is bringing back functions this kind of as the Biddy Tractor Pulls and the Queens Contest.

“We are also having a petting zoo on Saturday and introduced again the Arts and Crafts arena,” discussed co-chairman to the DRRF Committee, Beth DiDonato. DiDonato is sharing these responsibilities with Diane Smith.

“A Queen’s contest will also be held, delivered we have more than three contestants. We will have enjoyment on each the principal stage and gazebo phase just about every evening,” she additional.

Rides will be supplied by McGinnis, it was mentioned and there will be a huge variety of food stuff venders.

“Of program, DiRusso’s Sausage will be there. We also have fish, fried veggies, cheese sticks, steak sandwiches, lemonade, French fries, elephant ears and many some others.” said DiDonato. “The firemen will have their grilled chicken dinners readily available on Saturday and the Police Section will have their trailer with sandwiches offered as nicely.”

Gloria and Chuck Toner, of Bolivar, won Best of Show with their 1932 Ford Coupe during the 2021 Dennison Railroad Festival.

On Wednesday, the midway will open at 5 p.m. with the Queen’s contest at 5:30, on the Gazebo Phase. The Kent Point out Tuscarawas Campus has provided a $1,000 scholarship to the winner of the contest. At 6 p.m., the Park Christian Church Worship Group will present entertainment on the Gazebo Stage and at 7 p.m., “Accoustified” will conduct at the Railcar Stage.

On Thursday, the halfway will open at 4 p.m. At 7 p.m., Wes Shryock will be on the Railcar Phase and Jon Doe will be at the Gazebo Phase.
