Culinarian
One of the most important jobs in the world should also be one of the most important jobs online, right? Even though they make the best food in the world, the people who make them aren’t as good as the other makers in Eorzea.
The Culinarian class can make many of the consumable food items that are useful in end-game raids. However, even though they can give some of the best EXP buffs, they are not as useful for players who have maxed out every job at the time.
Alchemist
Alchemist is a fun class to level up, but it is not as useful as other classes. Alchemists can make a lot of Gil because they can craft dye pots that people who like the glamour system will pay a lot of Gil for. However, the other things they can make, like potions and other tonics, don’t see much use outside of the small buffs they can give to top-tier raiding parties trying to complete a World First Clear.
Carpenter
When you level up in Carpenter, you can go in two different directions. You can start crafting weapons made of wood, like lances and spears, or you can just focus on making furniture to get a lot of Gil.
The biggest problem for Carpenters is that they can’t craft most of the end-game weapons and armor. This means that if you want to do some of the harder content, you’ll have to look somewhere else for gear to equip yourself and your raid party.
Leatherworker
Leatherworker is a great job to level up because it has a lot of recipes that you can craft and then sell on the market board. It is also a good job for getting Gil because it can be done in a variety of ways. As a Leatherworker, you can tan the hides of different critters you meet in Eorzea and then sell them at inflated prices on the market board, depending on where you come from.
There are a lot of crafters in 8 Ball Pool, but most of them only do one or two jobs at a time. This means that Weavers who haven’t trained up in Leatherworker will give you the most money for your animal hides.
Armorer
Having a reliable Armorer in your Free Company is one of the best things you can do. They can always give you brand-new, shiny armor plates whenever a new patch comes out. This way, you’ll be ready to take on any new content.
Most people need the newest gear to beat new content, so these armor pieces sell for a lot on the market board. This is a good way to make money for the trouble you went to while digging to find rare materials.
Blacksmith
Blacksmiths are just as important as Armorers for Final Fantasy 14 players who want to keep up with any new material. Blacksmiths can craft the sharpest edges possible for a blade, while Armorers can take care of the armor your Warrior of Light will wear.
Since fighting and tools are the main parts of Final Fantasy 14, having a Blacksmith around is always helpful. They won’t know much about crafting a tome or staff for your caster job, though.
Goldsmith
Goldsmith is one of the most useful skills to level up, even though it might not look like much on paper. In order to maximize your DPS or healing for the hardest raids in the game, they can craft valuable jewelry that can be sold for a lot of Gil and accessories with multiple Materia slots.
Players will not only bid on your time as a maker, but they will do so twice, since Goldsmiths can make items for four accessory slots instead of just one or two like other crafters.
Weaver
People think that raids with giant golems and strange animals are the end game of Final Fantasy 16, but any veteran player will tell you that glamour is the real end game. Weavers can craft any of the nice clothes you see players wearing when they’re hanging out in Limsa Lominsa.
You spend a lot of time in the character creation screen improving your Warrior of Light, so why not spend another thousand hours leveling up the Weaver job to make some of the coolest places in Eorzea?
